![]() The conversion process to produce Chromic Oxide takes place through Na 2Cr 2O 7. Chromite was found in the mines of southern Africa, Asia, Turkey, and Cuba. It has a secret process that is being manufactured from Chromite (Fe, Mg) Cr 2O 4 which is used to produce Chromium (III) Oxide. The first transparent hydrated form of Chromium (+3) was prepared and made by the Parisians Pannetier and Binet in 1838.
